I have provided all information on smart meters.
Smart meters cannot be installed against the wish of consumers. No society shall allow installation of smart meters unless every consumer is given notice u/s 171 of electricity act
No smart meters can be changed in absence of consumers
Further no GR. On 1.4.26 can overrule section 47(5), 53, 55, 61, 171 of electricity act
Supply code 8.2 n 8.3. should give notice to consumer along with time and date and other conditions
The smart meters electricity company cannot over rule all the above provision of Electricity act.
Cannot use threat of police force
Cannot use prosecution u/s 353 for obstructing the public servants in performing duty.
Cannot use threat of disconnection of electricity supply and forcible installation of smart meters.
If police comes to forcibly install smart meters then get the station diairy from police station which supplied police force and other relevant documents relied upon by police to give such protection and register FIR against SR PI of police station.
